Kidney and liver transplants from a living donor, and bone marrow transplants, under the law of the country where you are treated.
This speciality covers kidney transplant, liver transplant and bone marrow (stem cell) transplant. For patients from abroad, kidney and liver transplants usually use a living donor who travels with the patient, often a close relative.
Every country controls organ donation by law, and the rules on who may donate and how the donation is approved differ between countries. Before you choose a destination, we check the current rules there and tell you what paperwork the donor and patient will need. We work only with donations that are legal in the country where you are treated, and we never arrange a paid donor.
Send the patient's latest reports first: kidney or liver blood tests, scans, dialysis details or the bone marrow report, with the blood group. Add the donor's age, blood group and relationship to the patient. For a bone marrow transplant, include any HLA (tissue type) results for brothers and sisters.
Transplant quotes have more parts than most. Ask whether each covers the donor's tests and surgery as well as the patient's, the days in intensive care, and the first weeks of medicines and follow up.

One set of reports, several quotes
You send your reports once. We share them, with your consent, with partner hospitals that treat this speciality. Each one quotes for your case and you decide.
