1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use medicurage.com or contact MediCurage for help with treatment abroad. By using the website or sending us an enquiry, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
In these terms, "MediCurage", "we" and "us" mean MediCurage, 6th Floor, JVR Tower, beside Orchid Hospital Road, Prabhat Nagar, Laxmi Nagar Colony, Kothapet, Hyderabad, Telangana 500035, India. "You" means the person using the website or our service. That may be the patient, a family member, or a partner agent acting for the patient.
Please also read our Privacy Policy and our Medical Disclaimer. They form part of these terms.
2. What MediCurage does
MediCurage is a medical travel facilitator based in Hyderabad, India. We connect patients from any country with partner hospitals and clinics in five countries (India, Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia and Mexico) and organise the practical side of treatment. Depending on what you ask for, this can include:
- Collecting your medical reports and getting a medical opinion from doctors.
- Asking partner hospitals in the country or countries you choose to quote for your treatment, so you can compare the quotes and choose.
- Requesting a visa invitation letter from the hospital you choose, where the country you are travelling to asks for one, flight booking, airport pickup and drop, and a hotel or guest house near the hospital.
- An interpreter, a case manager who is your contact throughout, and an online consultation with the doctor before you travel.
- Follow up after you go home, and recovery holidays or sightseeing if you want them.
We do not offer insurance claims, money exchange, local SIM cards, medicine delivery abroad, air ambulance services or surrogacy.
3. We are not a healthcare provider
MediCurage does not diagnose, treat or prescribe. Hospitals and doctors provide all medical care, and they are responsible for it under the law of the country where they work. The decision to accept you as a patient, the treatment plan, and the care you receive are made by the treating doctor and hospital.
Nothing on this website or in our messages is medical advice. Our Medical Disclaimer explains this in more detail.
4. Prices and quotes
- Prices on this website are indicative ranges. They help you plan, and they are not an offer or a quote.
- Your final cost comes from the hospital you choose. It depends on your reports, the doctor's examination after you arrive, the treatment actually needed, the room type and the length of your stay.
- A hospital's quote can change if the doctor finds something new or if complications occur. Each hospital sets its own terms for its quote, including how long it is valid, which currency it is in, and what it includes. What a price includes differs between hospitals and between countries, so please read each quote carefully when you compare them.
- You agree the payment for treatment with the hospital you choose, under that hospital's terms.
5. Your choice of country and hospital
You choose the country where you want to be treated, or ask hospitals in more than one of our five countries to quote. You are free to choose any hospital that quotes for your treatment, or none of them. MediCurage does not push you toward a particular country or hospital. Once you choose, your agreement for treatment is with that hospital.
6. The hospital's terms and local law apply to your treatment
Each hospital treats you under its own terms, its own consent forms and the law of the country where it is. That law, and the authorities that license and regulate hospitals and doctors there, differ from country to country. In particular:
- Before treatment, the hospital will ask you to read and sign its own consent forms and patient terms. Please read them carefully, and ask for an interpreter if you need one. They are between you and the hospital.
- Rules on some treatments, such as transplants and fertility treatment, differ between countries. We check the rules that apply in the country you choose, and the hospital decides whether you meet them.
- Questions about your medical care, your medical records and your bill go to the hospital, and if needed to the health authority of that country. We will help you raise them.
7. Your responsibilities
When you use our website or service, you agree to:
- Give accurate and complete information, including your medical history, current medicines, allergies and all relevant reports. Doctors and hospitals rely on what you share, and missing information can affect your opinion, your quote and your safety.
- Tell us promptly if your condition or your plans change.
- Have permission to share information about anyone else, such as the patient or the family members travelling with you. If the patient is under 18, you must be their parent or lawful guardian, or act with their permission.
- Make sure your passport is valid, and follow the visa, immigration and customs rules of the country where you are treated and of any country you travel through.
- Follow the instructions of the hospital and the treating doctor during your stay.
- Use the website lawfully. Do not upload files that contain viruses or harmful code, do not try to break into or overload the website, and do not send false enquiries.
8. Third party services
To help you, we work with providers who are independent of MediCurage, such as hospitals, doctors, airlines, hotels, guest houses, interpreters and transport providers, in India and in the other countries where we arrange treatment. We also use services such as WhatsApp for messaging. Each provider works under its own terms, and you may need to accept them.
We choose providers with care, but we do not control how they work. Each provider is responsible for its own services, including the hospital for your medical care, the airline for your flight, and the hotel for your room. If you have a problem with one of them, tell us and we will help you raise it with them.
If you continue a conversation with us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of WhatsApp.
9. Visas
Visa rules differ between the five countries and depend on your nationality. We check the rules for the country you choose. Where that country asks for a visa invitation letter from the hospital, we request it from the hospital you choose, check it against the passport of the patient and of each attendant, and help each person prepare their own visa application. We do not issue, arrange or grant visas. The decision to grant a visa belongs only to the government of the country you are travelling to. We cannot promise that a visa will be granted or how long it will take.
10. What we are responsible for
We will provide the services we agree to arrange for you with reasonable care and skill, and we will reply to every enquiry within 24 hours.
To the extent Indian law allows, MediCurage is not liable for:
- The medical outcome of any treatment, or the acts or omissions of any hospital, doctor or other healthcare provider, in any country.
- The acts or omissions of airlines, hotels, guest houses or other independent providers.
- Visa decisions, flight delays or cancellations, changes made by hospitals to their quotes, or changes in exchange rates.
- Losses caused by wrong or incomplete information that you gave us.
- Events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, war, government action, or failures of internet and telephone networks.
- Indirect losses, such as loss of income or business, that were not a foreseeable result of something we did wrong.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where Indian law does not allow it to be limited, for example for fraud.

15. Governing law and disputes
These terms, and our service to you, are governed by the laws of India. If you have a complaint about MediCurage, please write to us first at info@medicurage.com so we can try to resolve it. If we cannot resolve it, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes between you and MediCurage.
These terms do not change the law that applies to your treatment. Your agreement with a hospital, and any dispute about your medical care or your hospital bill, is governed by that hospital's terms and the law of the country where it is, and is decided by the courts or authorities there.
