How It Works
Six steps, from your first message to your follow up at home, in any of five countries. Tell us what you need. Hospitals quote. You choose.
Tell us what you need. Hospitals quote. You choose.
1. Share your medical reports and where you would like to be treated
Send your reports through the quote form on this site, by email to info@medicurage.com, or on WhatsApp at +91 88868 87123. Clear phone photos of paper reports are fine.
The documents that help most are:
- your doctor's latest notes or referral letter
- scan reports and images (CT, MRI, X-ray, or an echocardiogram, which is an ultrasound scan of the heart)
- recent blood tests
- biopsy reports, for cancer
- a list of current medicines
Tell us the patient's age, nationality and preferred language. The quote form also asks for your preferred country: India, Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia or Mexico. If you know where you want to go, choose it. If not, pick "No preference, show me options", and we ask hospitals in more than one country to look at your case.
If something is missing, we tell you what to ask your doctor for. We reply to every enquiry within 24 hours.
2. Our team reviews them with doctors and gets a medical opinion
Your coordinator writes a short case summary, which goes with your reports to specialist doctors at partner hospitals. Their written opinion covers the treatment they suggest, any tests they need first, and roughly how long you would be in hospital and in the country. If two doctors suggest different approaches, we explain the difference in plain words. The treating doctor makes the final plan after examining you in person.
3. Partner hospitals send their quotes for your treatment. You compare and choose
Once the treatment is clear, we ask partner hospitals in your chosen country, or in several countries, to quote for it. You see the quotes side by side and choose. The section below explains this step in detail.
4. We help with the visa and arrange flights, airport pickup and stay
- Visa. Visa rules depend on your nationality and the country where you are treated. We check the rules for your case, request the hospital's invitation or treatment letter where one is needed, and help you and your attendants prepare your applications. The destination country's government decides on every visa. Our Travel and Visa Guide covers all five countries.
- Flights. If you want, we book flights that match your admission date, with a wheelchair if needed.
- Airport pickup. A driver or representative we book meets you in the arrivals hall at the airport nearest your hospital, with a board showing the patient's name.
- Stay. We send a few places near the hospital, with nightly rates, and book the one you choose.
Before you fly, you receive a written plan: flight times, the name and number of the person meeting you, your hotel address, your first appointment and your coordinator's direct number.
5. You get treated, with an interpreter at the hospital and your coordinator on the phone
Your first days usually go to a consultation with the treating doctor and any repeat tests. If you do not speak the hospital's language, an interpreter for Arabic or your own language, arranged locally at the hospital, sits with you in consultations and explains consent forms before you sign.
Your coordinator works from our office in Hyderabad, keeps in close touch by phone and WhatsApp, and is your first call for anything, from a changed appointment to a problem at the hotel. You pay the hospital directly, and before discharge your coordinator asks the hospital for the discharge summary, your reports and an itemised final bill.
6. You fly home. We stay in touch for follow ups
You fly when your treating doctor says you are fit to travel. Before you leave, we go through your medicines, your follow-up schedule and the warning signs to watch for. At home, you keep the same coordinator. We pass your medical questions to the treating doctor and bring back the answer, and arrange an online follow-up consultation when the doctor wants one.

Prices online are averages. Your cost depends on your reports, the approach your doctors choose, the hospital and the country. So we ask hospitals directly, for your case.
How the quotes are collected
Every partner hospital gets the same case summary and reports, so you compare like with like. Each hospital sets its own price. If you chose "No preference", the quotes can come from two or three countries.
What you see
For each hospital, we lay out:
- the country and city
- the quoted price for the treatment
- what it includes, such as surgeon's fees, room, medicines and tests
- what it leaves out, such as extra days or special implants
- the expected days in hospital and in the country
What a price includes varies between countries, so if a quote is vague, we ask the hospital to clarify in writing.
Comparing across countries
The lowest quote is not always the right choice. A country further away means a longer flight after surgery. One destination may need a visa for your passport and another may not. Language, food and how long you must stay before flying home all count, so we set these out next to the price.
You decide
You can choose any hospital that quoted, in any country. We do not push you towards one, and you can take the time you need to talk it over with your family.
What can change
A quote is based on reports. The final bill can change if doctors find something new, if you need more days in hospital, or if a complication needs extra treatment. If a hospital revises its estimate, we ask it to explain the change in writing before you agree.
Our reply promise
We reply to every enquiry within 24 hours, from a person who has read your message, and we tell you what happens next. While doctors review your case and hospitals prepare quotes, your coordinator keeps you up to date.
Compare hospital quotes
Send your reports once. Partner hospitals each quote for your case, and you choose where to be treated. We do not push one hospital.
